Springfield

I went to Shikoku-island in 8 April.

Shikoku is a southern island in Japan. It consists of four prefectures, and the total length is 1500km or more. People spend them for one month or more, walk, and are surrounding.

There is a temple in four prefectures respectively. That number is 88.
These were built by Kobodaishi. Kobodaishi is a monk who was born 1000 years or more ago. It seemed to train mainly Shikoku, and to have made the Buddhism known to people plainly in Wakayama Prefecture.

Even if they learn the teaching, people go on a pilgrimage. The shape has the hat(like a umbrella) and the cane in the white robe...
